A Clay Paradise – is created by the warmth of talented hands of a young artist Olia Pylnyk and is presented to you by The Green Sofa Gallery from 9th to 29th of October.
An ancient ceramics is brought back to a new life. It is very cozy, homely and extremely sincere. An artist creates different objects of the interior like lamps, hangings, frames for mirrors, sculptures, flower pots, and even toilet paper hangings. All these things are made with inherent to women love to ones own nest and with the dream of a paradise on earth that everybody wants to create at home….
Olia Pylnyk sincerely shares all this with you during the exhibition “A Clay Paradise”.
Olia Pylnyk graduated Lviv Art Academy, the department of ceramics in 2005 and participated in numerous exhibitions such as “A garden of sensations” in the Ethnographical Museum in 2003 and in Cultural-artistic centre “Dzyga” in 2005.
She is faithful to ceramics despite the fact that this craft is very work-consuming, and this kind of art is sometimes in the shadow of others, like painting etc.
