According to Plato philosophy, our world is just a faint reflection of the perfect World of Ideas. Probably there is also an idea of an artst there. Sergiy Savchenko – is its precise reflection in the world of shadows.
Apart from the talent to see with the help of eyes – the colour, the light, proportions he has got a talent to own the materials that come into his hands in order to transform them into art objects and the constant urge of searching. Savchenko always creates new multifaceted projects all over the world. He is interested in graphics, sculpture, video-media art, photography, installation, performances and even body-art. He is the most successful and famous artist of new generation in Lviv.
The exhibition with a symbolic name – The Day of Knowledge - will demonstrate the painting of small size – the source of wild stream of Sergiy’s creativity. Portraits, landscapes, nudes, stilllives…All the works that are not always exhibited because they do not comply a single conceptual series, but nonetheless are wanted by all enamorated in genial charismatic painting of Sergiy Savchenko.
