On the 8th of April the Green Sofa Gallery opens a new and very interesting project – “Feeling you”. It is an international project since the two artists take part in it: Volodymyr Stetsula (Ukraine) and Jan Van Gogh (Holland).

These artists do not repeat each other in their creative work, they are just friends, it is very interesting for them to present each other. They had exhibitions together in Holland. “Feeling you” reflects when the two artists feel each other being in different parts of Europe. Feeling a woman and her sensual nature is present in the works (whether abstract or thematic) of Stetsula. And Van Gogh unexpectedly offers us his perception of Ukraine in his Carpathian Landscapes and symbolic works about Ukraine.

Volodymyr Stetsula was born in 1958, in 1981 he graduated Lviv Institute of Decorative and Applied Art. He is a member of The Union of Artists of Ukraine. Free lance artist. He works in the trend of Contemporary Art. Took part in more than 50 whole Ukrainian and international exhibitions. He is the author of 20 personal exhibitions. His geography is very wide – Ukraine, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania, the USA, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Canada, Israel.

Jan Van Gogh is also a free lance artist, he was lucky to be born with such a famous surname, to look like Vincent and to be his distant relative. Jan Van Gogh is an active participant of different initiatives designed to commemorate the great master. Apart from painting he also is a master of glass. He lectures and conducts workshops on artistic glass in Portugal, he is a member of a jury.

The exhibition will be on until the 27th of April.
