On the 10th of July Lesya Babliak presented her personal exhibition entitled My Bed of Flowers. This exhibition is the first for a young artist. Almost all sketches of flowers are painted near Lviv from nature. The technique of her works is also very interesting – very thin oil painting, almost like watercolor. My bed of Flowers smells, swinging with the wind, pleases the eye with such a familiar beauty of a grandmother’s garden.

The exhibition is very light, according to the summer mood. The wish to have rest, not to overload oneself with any troubles, even in an artistic format. The exhibition will be on until the 29th of July.

Lesya Babliak was born in 1977 in Lviv. She graduated Lviv Art collage, the department of restoration in 1996, and Lviv Art Academy, the sacral arts department. She paints icons, she was teaching painting in the Lviv Art Collage. She is a mother of three daughters.

There was a personal exhibition of her icons in Australia in 2000. Her icons are in Ukrainian church in Slupsk (Poland) . Some of her icons will be presented on the exhibition My Bed of Flowers.
